Goods processed through immediate tax refund at the store normally do not require a separate airport customs inspection. For a standard airport refund, the system may validate the purchase automatically, but a high-value transaction or an inspection alert can require you to present your passport, refund receipt and unopened purchased goods. Subject to on-site change: follow the airport kiosk or customs instruction before checking baggage that contains the goods.
