Medical Q&A Verification Policy

Last reviewed September 9, 2026

Koursea uses the “License-Verified Doctor” badge only on answers submitted by an active contributor whose professional license has been checked and whose verified specialty matches the question when a specialty is assigned.

What Koursea checks

What remains private

Koursea does not publish the contributor’s legal name, clinic affiliation, license number, or unredacted credential. The public badge opens only a redacted verification image. Private audit records are kept separately from the public community profile.

How the badge is protected

Contributors cannot select this badge in the browser. The answer service checks the signed-in account, active verification record, question category, and specialty before assigning it. Other members may still answer Clinics & Wellness questions, but their answers remain labeled “Community Answer.”

Information, not diagnosis. A verified badge confirms the contributor’s credential review; it does not turn a community answer into a diagnosis, prescription, or treatment plan. Confirm medical decisions with the provider who examines you.

Reporting a concern

Use the contact page to report a badge, credential, or medical-information concern. Also read the Koursea Healthcare Disclaimer.
