Plan the N Seoul Tower visit

The main decision is how to reach the Namsan summit area and whether the paid observatory is part of your plan. Treat the tower, cable car and shuttle bus as separate operations and recheck each official page before departure.

• General private-vehicle access to the tower is restricted. The tower directs visitors to the Namsan circular shuttle buses, nearby parking plus a transfer, the cable car or a walking route.
• The official bus page currently lists routes 01A and 01B and says the fare is transportation-card only. Recheck the route notice on the day because city transport operations can change.
• The cable-car boarding area is separate from the tower. The official route starts near Myeong-dong Station Exit 3 and includes an uphill walk to the boarding area.
• The outdoor plaza and the paid observatory are different decisions. Observatory hours, last admission, ticket prices and weather-related changes should be checked directly before visiting.

Visitor caution: Allow extra time for the uphill access and the return trip. Weather, queues and transport changes can affect the visit even when the tower itself is open.
