Reserve Hwadamsup before building the day trip

Hwadamsup is the hillside botanic garden inside the Konjiam Resort area in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do. Admission, the monorail and Hwadamchae are separate products, and monthly hours change with season and weather.

• Start with the official monthly notice and reservation flow for your exact date. The English FAQ recommends online booking; same-day sales exist only when inventory remains, so they are not a dependable peak-season plan.
• Keep the mobile ticket sent to the registered phone number or available in the booking account. Enter at the reserved time and check the cancellation rules separately for admission, monorail and programs.
• Do not assume the monorail is included with garden admission. Tickets, remaining seats and operating status are separate, and service can stop for inspection, thunder or lightning.
• Allow roughly two hours for the full garden on foot, plus the approach from the resort parking area. The official FAQ describes a short uphill walking trail when the free lift is busy and gives separate guidance for strollers and wheelchairs.

Visitor caution: Seasonal foliage, flowers, hours and transport operations are not guaranteed. Check the official notice and live monorail status on the visit date, bring water, and follow the garden's no-smoking and no-alcohol rules.
