Use the Gimpo Airport mall without confusing it with the terminal

LOTTE MALL Gimpo Airport is the shopping complex beside Gimpo International Airport in Gangseo-gu, Seoul—not a mall in Gimpo city and not an airside terminal facility. It combines a shopping mall, department store, Lotte Mart, cinema and hotel whose operating hours differ.

• Use the underground connection from Gimpo Airport Station. Lotte's official English directions list Exit 3 and about a five-minute walk through the passage; the station serves Lines 5 and 9, AREX, Gimpo Goldline and the Seohae Line.
• Check the exact component before visiting. Korea Airports Corporation currently lists the mall at 10:30–22:00, department-store floors 1F–5F at 10:30–20:00, MF/GF at 10:30–22:00 and Lotte Mart at 10:00–23:00, but current-day notices and tenant hours take priority.
• Keep flight time separate from shopping time. Reaching the mall does not mean you have cleared check-in, baggage drop, security or immigration, and the domestic and international terminals use different walking routes.
• For tax refund, ask the exact department-store brand or information desk before purchase and carry your passport and receipt. Lotte states that eligibility and refund handling vary by store and brand; an airport-adjacent location does not make every purchase duty free.

Visitor caution: Do not use a mall closing time as an airport deadline. Leave a conservative terminal buffer, confirm your airline's terminal and check-in cutoff, and avoid buying liquids, fresh food or bulky goods without checking baggage and customs rules for the onward journey.
