• The mural staircases threading between the hillside houses, especially the fish-and-star patterned stairs near the village's lower section.
• Wide viewpoints partway up the hill looking back over the colorful rooftops toward the sea -- these get better light in late afternoon.

A few practical notes

1. Wear real walking shoes -- the village is built on a steep hillside with a lot of stairs, and the stamp route covers real distance.
2. Some houses along the route are still lived in -- keep noise down and don't photograph directly into private windows or doorways.
3. A small shuttle bus runs partway up the hill for visitors who want to skip the steepest initial climb; ask at the entrance about current shuttle availability.
4. From central Busan, reach Gamcheon by subway to Toseong Station followed by a local bus, or by taxi directly to the village entrance.
