Classify the active ingredient first

Adderall and Vyvanse contain amphetamine-family ingredients that can trigger serious Korean narcotics-control restrictions. Concerta contains methylphenidate, also a controlled psychotropic ingredient. A foreign prescription does not itself authorize entry. Use the MFDS self-treatment narcotics permit process and allow enough lead time; submit exactly the documents and deadline shown by the current portal. Never conceal medicine or rely on a social-media answer.

Prepare documents for every medicine

Keep medicine in original labeled packaging with an English prescription or physician letter stating generic name, dose, daily schedule, diagnosis, travel dates and total quantity. Ordinary personal medication may be assessed differently from controlled substances, but fixed “90-day” or “six-bottle” claims are not a universal permission. Ask Korea Customs when quantity, injections, supplements or ingredients are uncertain.

Treat CBD and cannabis products as high risk

Korea controls cannabis and hemp-derived products far more strictly than many jurisdictions. Oils, gummies, sleep products and cosmetics may contain CBD or THC even when sold legally at home. Leave them behind unless the responsible Korean authority has explicitly approved the exact product. This guide cannot classify a product from its marketing name alone.
