Medical and price disclaimerThis guide is general travel planning information, not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. Prices are broad reference ranges and can change by clinic, protocol, VAT and promotion. A licensed clinician must assess contraindications, anatomy, dose and aftercare.

1. Lifting & tightening devices

MICROFOCUSED ULTRASOUND

Ultherapy (울쎄라)

Often quoted by shot count, commonly 300–600 shots for face and neck plans. It uses ultrasound imaging and focused energy; discomfort varies by depth, area and analgesia. Ask for the exact treatment map, genuine transducer or tip record, and planned shot count. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, tingling or altered sensation can occur; rarer harms require prompt review.

RADIOFREQUENCY

Thermage FLX (써마지 FLX)

Monopolar radiofrequency treatment used for skin tightening and contouring. The manufacturer describes a brief heating sensation with cooling and vibration. Ask to see the correct tip and packaging before use and request the treatment pulse record. Implanted electrical devices are an important contraindication to discuss.

MICROWAVE

Onda Lifting (온다 리프팅)

Microwave-based treatment marketed for selected body contouring and skin-tightening goals. Pain may be lower for some people, but comfort and risk depend on the area and settings. Confirm the applicator, energy plan, medical-device approval for the intended use, and whether the quoted price is per area or energy amount.

KOREAN HIFU

Shurink Universe (슈링크 유니버스)

A Korean HIFU option generally priced below imported ultrasound systems. Lower cost does not make protocols interchangeable: compare cartridge depth, shot count, area, operator and imaging capability. Ask the doctor why the selected depth is appropriate for your anatomy.

2. Skin boosters & collagen stimulators

PN INJECTION

Rejuran Healer (리쥬란 힐러)

Polynucleotide-based injectable used in Korea for skin-quality goals. Manual microinjection lets the clinician tailor placement, while an injector can standardize delivery speed and depth; neither is automatically better for every face. Compare product name, total cc, injection method, numbing, doctor administration and expected bumps or bruising.

PDLLA + HA

Juvelook / Juvelook Volume (쥬베룩)

Collagen-stimulating injectable families used for different depths and goals, including selected acne-scar and volume concerns. They are not simple substitutes for hyaluronic-acid filler. Ask about dilution, total vial amount, treatment plane, delayed nodule risk and the plan if an adverse event occurs.

POST-PROCEDURE ADD-ON

Exosome products (엑소좀)

Frequently marketed after lasers or microneedling for soothing and barrier support, but products, routes and regulatory status vary widely. Ask for the exact product, approved intended use and whether it is topical or injected. Do not accept an injectable product merely because “exosome” appears on a package.

3. Botox & dermal fillers: Korean vs. imported

Botulinum toxin

Korean brands

Botulax, Nabota and Coretox are among Korean-market options. Clinics often position domestic products as cost-effective for jaw, trapezius or calf treatments, where quoted units may be higher. Units are product-specific and cannot be casually converted across brands. Confirm the exact product, lot, units and injector.

Imported brands

Xeomin and Allergan Botox are common imported requests. Xeomin is formulated without accessory complexing proteins, but this does not guarantee zero antibody formation or “no resistance.” Facial expression-line treatment requires conservative anatomy-aware dosing; imported does not automatically mean safer or better.

Hyaluronic-acid dermal fillers

Imported premium

Juvederm and Restylane offer product families with different firmness and intended treatment areas. Do not compare only brand names: confirm the exact sub-product, cc, injection plane, expected duration and emergency plan for vascular occlusion.

Korean brands

Neuramis and Yvoire are commonly marketed as lower-cost volume options. The same safety rules apply: licensed injector, sealed product, exact volume, anatomy-based assessment, hyaluronidase access where appropriate, and urgent instructions for severe pain, blanching or vision symptoms.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Ultherapy 300 shots cost in Seoul?

A broad planning range is ₩800,000–₩1,200,000, but compare the same device, area, delivered shot count, provider, anesthesia and VAT. The clinic's written quote controls.

Does Xeomin prevent toxin resistance?

No product can promise that. Xeomin is formulated without accessory complexing proteins, while clinical response and antibody risk depend on multiple factors including product, dose, interval and individual biology.

What should I check before filler injection?

Confirm the exact sealed product and cc, licensed injector, treatment plane, expected result, common and serious risks, after-hours contact, and the clinic's vascular-occlusion response plan.

Can I fly immediately after treatment?

Rules differ by procedure and individual risk. Ask the treating doctor, allow time for follow-up, and do not fly with evolving swelling, severe pain, infection signs, breathing trouble or vision symptoms.
