Short answer: Goyang was the opening stop of the 2026–2027 XX : COSMOS world tour and BIGBANG's first full concert tour since 2017. All three advertised nights concluded; the August 23 performance was the Goyang finale, not the group's final concert.

The scale was clear before the first song

YG scheduled three stadium performances for August 21, 22 and 23. Coupang Play reported that all three dates sold out, with general booking completed in 22 minutes and more than 210,000 simultaneous users at peak. Those figures describe ticket demand, not verified attendance inside the venue, so Koursea does not convert them into a crowd estimate.

A four-part show built around three eras

Published opening-night reports describe a show lasting more than two hours and moving through four broad sections: the three-member BIGBANG catalogue, individual stages for G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung, a reunion-focused Cosmos section and the encore. The structure let the group revisit major singles without treating the anniversary as a museum piece.

The most consequential new moment was the concert debut of “BiiiG,” released for the twentieth anniversary. Public set documentation also records the return of songs that had not been performed by the group for many years. Because later-night setlists remain community-edited rather than official, this review does not claim that every song or transition was identical on all three nights.

The encore appears to have done much of the emotional work. Reports describe large-scale audience singing during familiar tracks, while community set documentation lists “Still Life” near the close and a short return to “BiiiG.” Those details make the intended arc legible: memory, separation and a present-tense comeback.

Who attended the August 23 finale?

A public X video posted after the final show shows an audience group identified by its uploader and subsequent fan discussion as 2NE1's Dara and Minzy, YG executive producer Yang Hyun-suk, WINNER's Jinwoo and Seungyoon, and members of BABYMONSTER. A same-day Reddit repost points to the same footage.

Important distinction: the available footage supports an audience-attendance report. It does not show a 2NE1 performance, prove all four members attended, or establish a surprise collaboration. “Dara and Minzy were filmed in the audience” is more accurate than “2NE1 appeared at the concert.”

What overseas visitors should take to the next city

Next official stop: YG's tour page lists Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on September 4 and 5, 2026, followed by East Rutherford on September 11. Dates and local times can change, so use the linked official tour page—not a reposted schedule graphic—before booking travel.

Use the named official seller. Goyang used Coupang Play domestically and NOL World globally. The seller may change by city.
Read identity rules before buying. A resale screenshot is not equivalent to a transferable official ticket.
Plan the exit before the encore. The Goyang threads repeatedly returned to late trains, transfers and bus fallbacks.
Separate stock reports by date. A merchandise photo from one show does not prove availability the next day.
Treat social setlists as provisional. They are useful for spoilers but can be incomplete, edited or different across nights.

What remains unconfirmed

Koursea has not found an official final-night setlist, an official guest list or an organizer-issued total attendance figure. It also has not found evidence of a 2NE1 stage on August 23. Those items will be updated only if YG, the performers, the promoter or clearly attributable primary footage provides confirmation.
