As of August 29, a final nationwide 2026 peak forecast is not yet a guarantee. Four autumn routes inside Seoul

Choose a trail using current KNPS difficulty and closure notices; cable-car queues do not guarantee a ride.
Naejangsan from Seoul
Take the Honam KTX to Jeongeup Station, then confirm bus 171 toward the Naejang Terminal Service Area. The published tourism route includes a further walk toward the cable-car entrance. Practical hiking and crowd tips
- Layer a moisture-wicking base, warm mid-layer and windproof shell for large morning-to-afternoon temperature swings.
- Carry water, charged power bank, offline Korean destination names and shoes with reliable grip.

- Prefer KTX for the Jeongeup route on peak weekends and leave a generous return buffer everywhere.
