The three-zone route
Zone 1: Seongsu Station fashion and beauty
Musinsa Standard and Musinsa concept stores
Musinsa operates several Seongsu formats, so confirm whether your saved pin is Musinsa Standard, a multi-brand store or a concept store. The company's foreign-customer program has included on-site tax refunds at major Seoul stores, but participation and equipment can change. Ask “immediate tax refund?” before the cashier starts payment and keep the receipt.
Amore Seongsu
Amorepacific's official listing places Amore Seongsu at 7 Achasan-ro 11-gil, with a Tuesday–Sunday schedule and Monday closure at the time of review. It is designed as a beauty-experience space with a product library and garden rather than a quick discount outlet. Experiences, reservations and product availability should be checked on the official page.
Zone 2: Yeonmujang-gil and flagship browsing
Visit Seoul describes Yeonmujang-gil as a former shoe-factory street now combining warehouses, boutiques, cafés and rotating pop-ups. Treat the street itself as the route and select only two or three anchors.
Tamburins
The Seongsu flagship is primarily a fragrance and spatial-design stop. Test one scent at a time, wait before judging dry-down and compare the exact volume rather than the display size. Verify the current branch pin and hours through Tamburins before departure.
Seongsu Yeonbang
This reused industrial complex groups food, lifestyle and small-brand spaces. Individual tenants can change or keep different hours, so do not assume every floor is operating because the building is open. It works best as a flexible rest or browsing stop between fixed anchors.
Zone 3: LCDC Seoul and the route finish
LCDC Seoul's official site lists 10 Yeonmujang 17-gil, about a short walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3. Its floors combine a café, curated shop, rotating doors or pop-up tenants and food; floor hours differ. Use the official access page on the day rather than copying one building-wide closing time.
If you prefer to end near Seoul Forest, reverse the route: begin from Seoul Forest or Ttukseom, cross the western flagship streets and finish at Seongsu Station. This is usually better than walking the same blocks twice.
Foreign-tourist tax refund from ₩15,000
- Look for a Tax Refund or Tax Free sign and ask whether the exact branch offers immediate refund.
- Present the physical passport before payment. A photo or photocopy may not be accepted.
- Confirm that the receipt total is at least ₩15,000 and within the immediate-refund limits.
- Check the receipt before leaving. If tax was not removed immediately, preserve the refund slip and goods for a downtown or departure claim.
- Do not combine separate receipts mentally. Eligibility is assessed per qualifying transaction and system record.
For immediate refund, the official published limit is at least ₩15,000 but under ₩1,000,000 for a single payment, with total purchases up to ₩5,000,000 during the trip. Rules and store participation can change, so the cashier and current official guidance control the transaction.

If a store is closed, full or sold out
- Switch to the next venue in the same zone rather than crossing the district.
- Ask staff whether a queue is for entry, a purchase or a separate experience.
- Check another official branch for stock before traveling across Seoul.
- For tax refund not processed in-store, keep the receipt and use an eligible downtown or airport refund route.
- Respect workshop access, residential alleys and active vehicle lanes while photographing storefronts.
