AREX trains before midnight
The current nonstop AREX Express schedule shows its final Seoul-bound departure at 22:40 from Terminal 2 and 22:48 from Terminal 1. For the all-stop train that reaches Seoul Station, use 23:32 from T2 and 23:38 from T1 as the practical final departures. Later trains may terminate before central Seoul, so read the destination display rather than assuming every last train reaches Seoul Station. Recheck the official AREX station timetable on arrival.

Use marked standard, international or pre-booked taxi stands. Kakao T and Uber can help request a licensed ride when data and payment are working, but meet only at the app's assigned pickup area. Official airport guidance lists night surcharges of roughly 20–40% between 22:00 and 04:00 depending on time and taxi jurisdiction. A central-Seoul trip can often land around ₩70,000–90,000 after tolls and night conditions, but this is an estimate, not a fixed quote; check the meter or official international-taxi fare before departure.
Where to sleep or rest at the airport
Capsule Hotel Darakhyu operates at the airport and advance reservation is strongly recommended because late-night inventory can disappear. The airport currently lists SPA at Home facilities in the public areas of T1 and T2, plus 24-hour relax, refresh, nap or public lounge zones in specified terminal areas. Some facilities sit airside and are unavailable after immigration, so check the map and access zone first. Confirm live hours before relying on a café, shower or sauna.
