Prevent the mistakes that cost time
- Do not choose AREX Express automatically. A direct airport bus or the all-stop train can be easier when a hotel is not near Seoul Station.
- Do not assume an overseas bank card is a subway fare card. Supported machines may accept the card for payment, while the gate still requires the ticket or transit card issued by the machine.
- Do not treat “Seoul” as one compact center. Group each day by district and avoid crossing the river repeatedly.
- Do not wait until midnight to check the last train. The final train that completes your transfer may leave earlier than the station's last departure.
- Do not rely on a translated English place name. Save the Korean name and address so a driver, station employee or map app can identify the right place.
